Can i use body perfume with a candle making kit?
a candle makeing kit i have uses theses little beeds that when melted after it’s put into the glass container and lit once turns into wax, if i spray in a little bit of body perfume will it be bad, or will it help give the non sented beads a good smell?
i wouldn’t be spraying the purfume on an open flame, the perfume would be mixed in with the wax beads.
No because body perfume has an alcohol base. You need to use essential oil to scent the beads. Spraying perfume on an open flame could be quite dangerous.
Be careful when making candles as a lot of house fires have been started from this craft project.

A good microbrewery kit will cost about $90 but that gives you all the equipment you need, and it’s completely reusable. Then the individual malt kits, for whatever type of beer you currently fancy, will cost $20-30 and give you six gallons.
Remember, any type of homebrewing requires equipment and buying ingredients, and traditional brewing generally requires more of everything because there are more processes. So on balance kits really offer great value.
All the more so when you factor in the reliability of these simple-to-use kits, and the cost of a failed brew using the traditional method. And of course, kits also save you considerable time.
What Varieties Can You Brew with Kits?
You know, there is nothing to match the delicious taste of homebrewed beer — the commercial brands don’t come close. But with kits nowadays you also have all the variety to choose from — ales, lager, stout, all the classics — and you can also have fun creating your own original blends and flavors. Try honey beers, or spiced ales, or experiment with the famous Goat Scrotum Ale (actually, it’s delicious).

how much would i save if i bought a beer making kit?
i usually buy the cheapest beer out there, so i pay about 8$ for a 6 pack. but i want to get a beer brewing kit. how much does this save me? anyone have any experience with this?
Heh…heh…heh. As a homebrewer I can tell you that you don’t get into it to save money. But you can.
I’ve got a pale ale going right now. Nothing special, mildly hoppy and a nice level of malt. Ingredients alone cost me $28. Since I save all of my pry top bottles I don’t have to buy them, but if I did they’d have cost me around $12 a case. I’ll bet two cases and about 3 bottles from this batch. Caps will run you under five bucks for 100.

The real killer is the start up costs. To get a good extract brewing kit it will cost you about $90. You can get one for $60, but I really recommend the carboy for clarifying your beer. You can totally piece one together from Home Depot for less, but the there is some work you gotta do.

So your first batch isn’t going to save you anything. But later batches will only cost you about $30 for two cases. Until you decide you wanna get creative. This years Christmas ale cost me about $75. Two years ago it cost me $110, but it was an AMAZING Imperial Stout.
