Oil Industry Ties
The Bush Administration's oil industry ties run deep. In fact, Condoleezza Rice once had an oil tanker named after her by Chevron. Later, the oil tanker's name was changed in order to avoid controversy. Keeping this information in mind, it seems as if the lead up to war with Iraq was more about the oil and less about freedom and democracy.
War President
The president of the United States isn't listening. While most Americans no longer support the Iraq war and want to see the troops come home asap, George Bush and his administration prefer to ignore the people and continue on with this long, hard slog. Relentless, regardless of the cost and strain on the military; George Bush is determined to stay the course. The 43 president will go down in history as a "war president." He's definitely earned the title.
Lobbying and greed have taken over our political parties. The corporate influence on our politicians is undeniable. Rather than a two party system, we now have become a three party system, Republican, Democratic and lobbyist. Where's the representation for the people?

The middle class squeeze. The cost of living is taking its toll on the middle class. From high gas prices to taxes, Americans are feeling the pinch.
Ongoing scandals continue to plague the Bush Administration. From the Iraq war debacle to the trampling of civil liberties, there’s been a constant stream of bad news over the past 6 years.
The conduct of this administration has been thoroughly examined and analyzed by the mainstream media. Scrutiny over each scandal has led to ongoing discussions between political pundits and politicians with no end in sight. The two entities banter back and forth with their partisan opinions as if it were sport. In the meantime, new scandals involving the Bush administration continue to emerge.
Will the American people finally come to the conclusion that there was misconduct within the Bush administration and will there be any accountability held for their actions? Do any of the ongoing scandals rise to an impeachable offense? The jury may still be out on this issue but as far as George Bush's job performance goes; his approval rating is at an all time low of 28%.
The 43rd president's reign will soon be coming to an end and impeachment is not in the works. One could consider the current scenario a blessing in disguise; if impeachment actually played out, the replacement for the president would be Vice President Dick Cheney.
