Parrot Parakeets
can any one list the breed of parrot ( talking ability?)?

i dont want to get a bird, just want to know talking ability
Greys are great, as are most Amazons and Quaker Parrots. There is no guarantee with any species that you will get a talker. If thinking of getting a bird, get one that fits your lifestyle, not one you think would be neat to teach to talk.

Can I keep a parrot and a parakeet together?
I have one parakeet (the other one flew into my window :,/ ) and im thinking of getting a parrot or any kind of smart birds that can learn to speak. Any suggestions on a type of bird that will get along with it and that I can teach to talk?
The smaller parrots are good companions for budgies. These include cockatiels, and perhaps even some of the smaller conures such as painteds and green cheeks. Linnies can be very good companions though at this time I’m not sure how aggressive they are. If you want your birds to hang around each other, I would avoid love birds as they’re one of **THE** most aggressive parrots available.
Cockatiels – both male and female – Can learn to talk. Males may learn faster but females Can be just as talented. They’re also very sweet, gentle birds that generally get along with everyone.
Most small conures can learn a few words. They’re not the clearest talkers and talk in small, gravelly voices that sound as if someone is mumbling in a microphone. Many conures can be ripe little bullies, so you’ll want to make sure your budgie and conure get along before they’re allowed out to play with each other.
There’s other options out there, too. Try to keep birds of similar size as companions and make sure each bird gets their own cage unless they’re the same species. The exception to this would be having budgies and cockatiels in the same cage. Even then it’s suggested that they be kept in an aviary where they can escape eachother if the budgie becomes a pest.
