Plated Chain
I regularly wear a gold plated chain, which has now discolored, any tips on how to regain the colour?
It really is a sentimental necklace and i really would like the edges of the chain to regain its gold colour, does jewellary work? Would it regain the gold colour? Is there anything i can coat the necklace in?

How do I fix a scratched up Zinc alloyed silver brushed plated item?
I have an engraved key chain that is Zinc alloy plated in brushed silver and has gotten all scratched up and I barely used it, it doesn’t look very good, what can i do to fix this? Can it be polished or something? It’s a gift that’s dear to me and I hope to find a solution , please help, thank you.
Find a Silver plater or a buffer who will buff it for you. Some jewlry stores will try and buff it for you. From now on never by silver plate anything ok? Just by sterling silver and you wont have these problems. good luck!
