How do you move house in a hurry?
HI guys,
I have to move house on my own, I have four days and the use of a tray back utility for the weekend, but only my little hatch back car on the weekdays. Any advice or pointers and tips on moving house appreciated!
If it’s really urgent, don’t bother organizing. I’ve moved 4 times in the past 2 years so it’s nothing new to me. I go thru my house with a trash-bag and throw out anything I haven’t touched in 3 weeks. If you are 100% positive you’ll need it in the future, keep it. If not, toss it. Clothes can go in boxes folded or not, just make sure you label them. Do you have friends? They really help.

How do increase the humidity in my incubator?
I am trying to hatch bearded dragons from eggs for the first time. Ive done some Research and i bought a hobivator incubator. I know bearded dragon eggs need to be exposed to a temperature some where around 82 degrees with a humidity around 70%-90%. I have my incubator at 82 degrees but the humidity is only at about 65%. I put alot of water in the water tray that came with it. I also took a dish towel and soaked it in hot water but the humidity wont go up. Is there anything else i can do? Please help, my dragon is going to lay eggs any day now.
Humidity is a function of temperature because the hotter it is the more moisture the air can hold. So, without adding water air that is cool and then warmed will lose relative humidity. In my greenhouse as daytime temps go from 50 to 120 relative humidity goes from about 35% to 5%.
To increase humidity within a system (like an incubator) you have to make sure that the system is closed. That means that there is very little air exchange from inside to outside. If your outside humidity is very low and there is an air exchange (through the heating coils? or around a bad seal?) then it is going to be hard to raise the humidity. To raise the humidity you may have to put the whole business in a closed environment like a large plastic bag while making sure that there is no fire hazard.
