Sun conure laid 9 eggs, feathers in disarray, the wing is broke / limp, not knowing what to do, if it is broken.?
My conure Sun recently 9 eggs laid around the wing now looks weak and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with trying to keep the eggs warm or somehow broken and I'm not sure how to treat it, I can play and not protest but that still does not look good
If she had 2 or 3 egss, which may have kept your body heat, but with 9 eggs may have to use their wings to keep warm. Be sure to provide Mom with lots of fresh vegetables and pasta, eggs hard, every time you put an egg takes all the calicum of your body. When the eggs hatch, and the mother begins to feed them make sure that no one diet is seed, babies need extra vitamins of fresh vegetables and more "people" food mother eats. Congratulations

Can Dogs Really Talk? Well Online They Can!
There’s a fresh social networking site on the web. It isn’t another myspace or facebook. It’s better than that. And it’s really for dogs.
Dogpawfile.com officially hit the world-wide web 18 months ago. Within the first 12 months of its grand opening, the site, a good successor for the now defunct Dogphoria.com, welcomed thousands of new members. If you’re wondering how dogs can interact socially on the internet, you obviously aren’t a dog lover! With animals, everything is possible. The secret, apparently, is in the “pawfile.”
A “pawfile,” a photograph/story about a pet, it is the basic way of communication between Dogpawfile members. A member uploads a photo of their animal, plus a brief story, and other members post their responses. When a member has commented on the particular pet’s pawfile, both the pets and their owners become “friends” in one another’s kennels. Pets reward favorite pawfiles with online “treats,” and can contact buddies privately via “peemail,” the site’s email service. Members create personal pages, post videos and slide shows of their pets, and are able to receive daily honors as “Dog of the Day,” or “Top Ten.” Membership is free, and every one is invited to submit articles and ideas to the site’s online magazine, where they are able to volunteer to be profiled in a special feature, “Dogpawfile Pawtraits.”
One could possibly say that dogpawfile is dependant on friendship. The site’s moderators welcome opportunities to bring pets together via the internet. For example, members are invited to take part in voluntary holiday gift exchanges etc.
Despite its name, Dogpawfile just isn’t exclusively for dogs. All pets are welcome; there are numerous cats on the site, and several birds, one of which jokingly refers to himself as a “bird dog.” Humor flourishes at Dogpawfile; the pet’s personality (or that of the owner), often lighthearted, is evident through the posted photos and stories. A quick glance at Dogpawfile’s roster reveals PecoDee, the mischievous, Elvis-impersonating chihuahua from Minnesota, and Mr. Khan, the handsome Alpha dog from Spain; Spike, the conure that dances to the 1963 song, “Surfin’ Bird,” and Twinkle, a poetry-loving canine southern-belle from Mississippi. Countless other pets can be found at Dogpawfile, thanks to the ongoing efforts of the site’s founders, Paul and Joanne Alexander, from Alicante, Spain.

"I can give my Conure Quaker Oats?
I just got a Green Cheek Conure and I am clicker training him and I want to give a treatment that is small and can eat fast, so do not get too full, while I'm training. I use millet, but it was still biting very large and I can only give an oat as a reward? I heard if you eat "cook" the rice into the uterus and expand, and could harm them. Is that just for oats?
Conure Quaker is a bird and another bird for a second I thought it was a bird lol, no flakes oats are partially cooked it should be good, but as there are bird seed mix of oats, oatmeal and rolled oats anyway I do not see a problem. Rice is a starch, so it might have different digestion process, especially if it is raw and unprocessed, as is sticking gravel and do not have time to digest, if it takes 45 minutes of cooking.
