what are the best practice golf balls to buy…
… not the whiffle balls, but the ones that look like the real thing but don’t go as far. what is a good brand? and will i be able to tell movement like a normal ball, such as right to left, etc.?
You can buy foam or plastic ones but they don’t give good feedback.
I think the best thing to do is go to the range because practing in your back yard just gives unreliable results.

The BirdieBall is shaped like a napkin ring, which gives it an odd look and a strange sound when it is in flight. It can be bought with a mat to tee it up with. Consumer Reports did a small study and found that golfers either really liked it or didn’t like it at all. The BirdieBall also doesn’t travel as far as other practice balls.
Qolfball
The Qolfball is designed to be more realistic than most practice balls and you can fade, draw or spin it. It is made from Surlyn and is designed to be very durable. The Consumer Reports study found that golfers felt it was realistic off the club face.
Point 3 Almost Golf
The Point 3 Almost Golf practice balls are designed to look like real golf balls. They are made from dense foam rubber and are very light. They are designed so they won’t damage furniture or dent cars. The Consumer Reports study found that the P3 responded well despite its light weight and that the feel and sound were muted when compared to the real thing.

what type of prastice wiffle type balls do you recommend?
i considered buying a lot of 160, some were solid and look look like like actual golf balls, but do they dent easially, with a good solid shot? 2 other type where whiffle type, 1 had all round holes, the other had round and triangle holes, and said that modifies you slice or draw. i have a huge yard, and dont believe i want the ones that eccunate, or modify, the slice or draw, anyone have any favorites 2 use, and what do you think of the hollow plastic ones that look like real balls and have all the demples, do they smash up easially with a good hit, i dont care if they smash with a bad hit. pretty wide open question, just need thoughts on past experiences with them, and again i dont care if they smash up with a bad shot! what flies best? thanks
There is a ball called almost golf balls, they give u about 40% of the clubs yardage, You can hit em in to a window and they wont break it, YOu can buy them at dick’ssporting goods best ones i have hit.
