my abs never get sore!?
why is it when i work my abs i never get sore the day after its intense during but never after i work my abs 4 times a week i do seated oblique crunches 4 sets of 15 with 10 pounds resistance,then cable wood chops with with 10 lbs resistance and 4 sets of 10, then i do the russian twist for 4 sets of 10, then i switch from my obliques to my abs and do w.leg lifts with 3 pound dumbell,then i switch to bicycle sit ups 4 sets of 15 then super set to knee ups for 4 sets of 15, then i do my upper abs which is swiss ball crunches 4setsof10 and super set to bicycle crunchesfor 4 sets of15,and then jawada situps 4 sets of 10 and super set to butterfly crunches 4 setsof 10. why am i not getting sore?
i do have strong abs i only have a small amount of body fat left and most of these excersises are new except swiss ball crunches butterfly crunches and knee ups
It’s okay if they’re not sore. Soreness doesn’t equal progress in some cases, so they still might be growing. However, you could try new exercises to see if they’ll get sore. Try doing planks, side planks, and for your lower back you could try back extensions. It sounds like you have pretty strong abs, so maybe that’s the reason they’re not sore.
